FCIL Seminar Series: Treaties and Related Documents In-Person

Session Three:

This workshop will guide law students through strategies for locating treaties, international agreements, and diplomatic communications. The instruction will include guided demonstrations of the U.S. State Department's treaty portal, HeinOnline's Treaty Index Finder, and the UN Treaty Collection and UN Audiovisual Library of International Law. Participants will gain experience in retrieving treaties from government repositories, navigating treaty databases with advanced filters, and leveraging academic platforms to support coursework, internships, or legal practice requiring treaty analysis.
