FCIL Seminar Series: Foreign Legal Research in Common Law Jurisdictions In-Person

Session Five:

This workshop will explore the five main legal systems—common law, civil law, customary law, religious law, and mixed systems—focusing on their structural differences and historical contexts. Through guided demonstrations, participants will learn to navigate key resources including Oxford Constitutions of the World, GlobaLex, and the Foreign Law Guide.
